Our Terms & Conditions

Legacy Chauffeurs request a minimum of 12 hours notice for any online bookings.

We will not carry more passengers than we are legally permitted to and our drivers will follow the speed limit and rules of the road at all times.

All our vehicles are strictly non smoking.

We reserve the right to provide an alternative vehicle and/or chauffeur.

We reserve the right to use a subcontracted vehicle.

Legacy Chauffeurs and sub contracted vehicles are fully licensed and insured as private hire vehicles.

Any damage caused to the interior or exterior of the vehicle by a client, is the responsibility of the client and they will be charged for any valeting or repair necessary to return the vehicle to its original condition.

Punctuality is intrinsic to our quality service, however we cannot be held responsible for circumstances beyond our control which may cause delays.

By supplying your email address you permit Legacy Chauffeurs to contact you via email. We will never supply your email to any third party.

The clients personal property is their own responsibility and Legacy Chauffeurs cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage. Lost property should be reported to Legacy Chauffeurs.

Legacy Chauffeurs have the right to refuse any passenger transportation whose behaviour is threatening to the car, chauffeur or other people or who is thought to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

Nothing contained in these terms and conditions can affect the Client’s’ statutory rights.

Payment and Deposits

Credit card and debit card payments are subject to a 3% surcharge.

A 25% deposit is required for all bookings.

Your booking may be subject to additional charges including waiting time and car park charges, if journey changes are made, such as additional pick ups.

The charge on your credit card statement will be shown as Legacy Chauffeurs.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

Cancel a booking with less than 24hours notice and a cancellation charge equal to 100% of the journey cost will be invoiced.

If a booking is cancelled by the Customer with 1-7 days notice of the start of the booking then a charge of 50% of the journey cost will be invoiced.

If a booking is cancelled with 7-14 days notice then a charge of 25% of the cost of the journey will be invoiced.

If a wedding booking is cancelled within 6 weeks from the start of the period of hire, the deposit will be non-refundable. If a wedding booking is cancelled within 2 weeks from the start of the period of hire, the full hire amount will still be charged.

If the customer does not appear at the time and place designated as the pickup point, all monies paid will be non-refundable and the full price will be invoiced.
